Three Springs of Paint Rock Valley is a treatment program for boys and girls with behavioral and emotional difficulties.
The name “Three Springs” was inspired by the several natural springs on this beautiful property which is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Here, troubled teens and their families can regain a sense of connection and of hope for the future through treatment, academics, and activities designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. Removed from the distractions of cell phones, video games, the mall, and other disconnecting modern conveniences, the boys and girls live separately in rustic campsites near a main campus that has more modern amenities, including a dining hall and fully accredited school.
Begun in 1985, Three Springs Paint Rock Valley is a comprehensive treatment program designed to meet the needs of your child and your family. Students enter the program year-round and immediately begin working on emotional and behavioral issues as well academic goals. Our staff work with parents and other professionals to design a treatment plan that is specific to your child’s and family’s needs. Students are able to make progress in school, family relationships, social skills and self-care. Our caring staff guide your child and family through a process of identifying and solving problems that have hindered relationships and your child’s potential for success. The integration of several different treatment modalities, academic opportunities, and experiential activities helps your child and family to reconnect and move toward a brighter future.

Three Springs Paint Rock Valley is licensed by Alabama Board of Education and the Alabama Department of Youth Services. Our school is SACS/CASI accredited. Paint Rock Valley is affiliated with Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association.
