At Paint Rock Valley your son or daughter has the unique opportunity to participate in EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) activities, equine science and horse care.
The horses serve as very objective and honest teachers. Participation in this elective allows your child to observe and discuss equine behavior, which assists them with identifying their own behaviors in a safe and non-threatening manner. During these activities the students learn proper horse handling and maintenance. Once your child has successfully completed our equine programming elective course, he or she is eligible to join the equine team. The goal of the equine team is for our students to experience both English and Western riding.
Both of our equine instructors have achieved their EAGALA I and II certifications, which provides the knowledge and training necessary for facilitating activities effectively. EAGALA sets the standards for maintaining a high level of creativity and credibility. Three Springs seeks to not only meet but exceed EAGALA standards by implementing therapeutic activities throughout the elective.
