
Sharon Laney, MS, Program Administrator
Sharon was the Administrator at Paint Rock Valley from 1989 to 1994. She has worked for Three Springs, Inc. for over 20 years serving in various roles. She has served on the National Association for Therapeutic Schools and Programs, Board of Directors since 2002 and was President of the Association in 2007 and 2008. She is well known and very active in the industry.
Kathy DeMellier, M.A.
Kathy received her Master's Degree in 1997. Kathy has been with Three Springs, Paint Rock Valley for 14 years since completing her bachelor's degree from Auburn University in 1993. She began her work with Three Springs as an intern and has served in several roles while at Paint Rock Valley including administrative and clinical roles. She currently serves as the Director of Admissions for the boys and girls campus. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Sarah Raynor, Ph.D.
Dr. Raynor earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She completed her internship working in residential, day-treatment, and outpatient programs near Chicago, Illinois. She is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and has presented her research at numerous national psychology conferences. She specializes in working with children and their families, as well as psychological assessment and diagnostic formulation. In her free time, Dr. Raynor enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being active (e.g., mountain biking, hiking, running, tennis).
Pete Wallingsford
Pete has been working with Three Springs since 1999. He began working as the vocational instructor for Paint Rock Valley girls and boys program. He moved from that role to Director of Education for both campuses and is currently the Superintendent of Three Springs Schools in Alabama. Pete has a Bachelors degree in Agriscience, a Masters degree in Vocational and Adult Education, a Masters degree in Secondary School Administration and an Education Specialist Degree in Vocational and Adult Education. Pete has 35 years combined experience as a classroom teacher and education administrator.
Judy Pike, Special Education Coordinator
Judy came to the Three Springs Program in August, 2009 following a 31 year teaching career with special needs students. Her professional training includes: an EDS and MS from the University of Alabama in Instructional Leadership/Administration and Special Education; BS degree is in Special Education from Jacksonville State; an Associates in Arts from NACC; and additional training in Autism, Dyslexia,Reading, and GED prep. She lists her priorities as: Faith (Prov. 3:5-6), Family, Friends & Students, Football. She and her husband, Jerald, reside on the same farm she grew up on. Her son, Trey, teaches and coaches in Goshen, AL. Her son, Torre, is a student and football player at Lagrange College. She enjoys traveling and making new friends!
Haley Pepper, M.A., Program Director
Haley has been with Paint Rock Valley for 11 years since completing her bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998. She received her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology in 2009. She began her career here in the valley as a live in counselor, and currently serves as the Program Director. Haley enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
