Each student that enters our program on psychotropic medication is assessed by our staff psychiatrist and monitored throughout his or her stay for medication effectiveness, side-effects, and compliancy.
The consulting psychiatrist is a member of the treatment team and communicates with program staff about your child’s specific issues and needs. Students, staff, or parents can request that a child be seen by the psychiatrist and parents can request to communicate directly with the psychiatrist if needed.
